The Blood Research Institute of the BloodCenter of Wisconsin (BCW) seeks candidates for a faculty position in the area of basic and/or translational glycobiology research with an aim to expand our research program in Translational Glycobiology, Stem Cell Biology, Transfusion Medicine, benign and malignant Hematology. We are soliciting applicants whose research interests lie in the intersection of computational and “wet lab” glycobiology/cell biology. Areas of focus include hematopoiesis, pluripotent stem cells for regenerative medicine strategies and cell therapy, leukemia biology, and systems biology. Faculty candidates of all academic ranks are welcome to apply, including those seeking their first full-time faculty position. We invite applications from individuals with a strong track record of scientific contributions to the field as evidenced by their publication record and preferably active extramural funding.  Physician-scientists with laboratory-based research programs are encouraged to apply. The qualified candidate is expected to develop a productive extramurally funded research program that successfully combines in silico, in vitro and in vivo experimental approaches.

Minimum Qualifications:
•    MD, PhD or MD/PhD;
•    At least two years of postdoctoral experience;
•    Evidence of excellent research productivity and communications skills.

•    Previous success in obtaining research fellowships or grants;
•    Demonstrated commitment diversity, equity, and inclusion
