New PostDoc Project Positions

May 1, 2019
I am looking for two or more excellent postdocs to work on projects
related to our glycobiology/glycoengineering research. One area is our
NIH-funded project to develop orthogonal pathways in E. coli for
producing therapeutically relevant glycan structures. Our interest is in
using these structures to create novel proteins with advantageous
properties. The second area is cell-free glycoprotein synthesis where we
are working on creating advanced systems for total biosynthesis of
therapeutic protein drugs. All of our work is collaborative, and our
work always spans fundamental understanding with translation to drug
development. A key requirement in my group is the ability to work as a
team, and to connect with our collaborators. Students from my group go
both to academic positions and to industrial positions.

Anyone who has come through your groups, and who you strongly recommend,
I am sure would be a great fit. Can you please forward this to members
of your group or your Department?

Best wishes,
Matt DeLisa
