Pre-conference Satellites and Social Events
Satellite registration and banquet tickets are not included in the main conference registration and must be purchased as an add-on if desired.

Banquet ticket: $60 First come first served. Ticket availability is NOT guaranteed if you wait to purchase on-site.

STUDENT TRAVEL AWARDS (APPLY DURING ABSTRACT SUBMISSION)
1) Only graduate students and Postdocs within 5 years of receiving their PhD are eligible.
2) Requires submission of a CV and mentor support letter.
3) Both the applicant and mentor must be paid members of the Society.
4) Travel award applications are submitted together with the abstract, during the process of submitting an abstract for presentation at the Annual Society for Glycobiology meeting.
5) Preference will be given to candidates located further from the meeting location.
6) Only two award applications will be considered from any individual investigator's laboratory.Please note: 

Travel award applications are submitted electronically during the abstract submission process. You must submit the travel award application and abstract concurrently. Once the abstract is submitted, you may not go back and submit a Travel award application at a later date. Please have your abstract and all of your travel award application materials ready to submit at the same time.


Information/Photo Release and Policy
By submitting a registration for the meeting, you (conference attendee) are granting permission for the use of photographs taken at the conference, to be used on the society website or in subsequent society publications. Information may be shared with partner groups with discretion. If an attendee does not want information to be shared, please opt out by emailing us that request via here.


Refund and Cancellation Policy
Registration refunds will be provided minus a 15% cancellation fee for refund requests received in writing via email by October 3, 2018 at the latest. No refunds can be given after this date. Travel and accommodation cancellations remain the sole responsibility of the individual.
