Welcome to SfG

The Society for Glycobiology is a non-profit scholarly society devoted to the pursuit of knowledge among scientists worldwide.

The objectives of the society are to promote knowledge, encourage research, educate young scientists and stimulate personal communication in an inter-disciplinary sense, using as the common meeting ground an interest in the complex carbohydrates of glycoproteins, glycolipids, glycosaminoglycans, and the biological systems in which they are found.

Benefits of Membership

As a FASEB member society, SfG members have access to a wide network of policy, advocacy and networking activities.

SfG membership benefits include online subscription to Glycobiology, conference registration discounts, access to Travel Awards and more!

Individuals with professional interests in glycobiology are invited to join the Society.
