TRANSPORTATION.  The Tampa International Airport (main airport) and St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport (smaller airport) are both about 28 miles away and approximately a 30 minute drive to the hotel.  The Tradewinds Resort operates a direct airport shuttle service that costs about $23.00 one way, reservations can be made at (866) 403-3303 or resorttransportation@yahoo.com.  A taxi will cost about $70 one way from either airport.  SuperShuttle will cost $25.00 one way or $46.00 roundtrip from the Tampa Airport and $47 one way from the St. Petersburg Airport, SuperShuttle reservations can be made at www.supershuttle.com or call 800 BLUE VAN (800 258-3826).
